December 2007
Dear Clients and Friends of The Latimer Group –
As we approach the end of 2007 and the close of our fifth year of operations, I would
like to take a few moments of your time to share some thoughts from the past year and
on our outlook for the future.
First of all, I would like to thank all of our clients for the strong and valuable working
relationships we share with you. We also would like to thank those who have referred
clients and relationships to us. Referrals are the ultimate testimonial, and we humbly
appreciate each and every one we receive.
As we look back on 2007, we see a successful year for The Latimer Group, with
many highlights
worth sharing with you.
- New and deeper client relationships. World-class
organizations continue to see great value in their work with The Latimer Group. We
added several new relationships in 2007. But just as important, we continue to deepen
our relationships with existing clients. The deeper the relationship, the more value
we can add. (To see a complete list of The Latimer Group’s clients, along with
testimonials, please visit: www.thelatimergroup.com/aboutus/testimonials.html.)
- Successful launch of Move the World. My new book was launched
in April, and it continues to be well received and reviewed. The book lays out our
core Move the World methodology, which is the centerpiece of our value to
clients. (Please visit www.MoveTheWorld.com.)
- Enhanced services. While all of our work continues to originate
from our core Move the World methodology, we continue to expand the depth
and breadth of our offerings. We have set a strategy moving forward to develop an Online
Learning Center to provide written, audio, video and interactive content. Click
here for a more detailed discussion of our Services and our plans for what’s
to come.
- Continued publication of The Beacon. In order to keep
pace with the 24 -7 business world, it is so important to slow down occasionally and
reflect on insights gained and lessons learned. This is what The Beacon is
all about. (Please see the library of past issues at www.TheLatimerGroup.com.)
- US Olympic Sailing Chairmanship. As many of you are aware, I augment
my work with The Latimer Group by serving as Chairman of US Olympic Sailing. Recently,
I was asked to serve a second term as Chairman through the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
I firmly believe that this role greatly enhances the value I am able to deliver to
our clients. It exposes me to leadership, communication and sales challenges that require
creative solutions, precise tools and new frameworks.
We are proud of our accomplishments in our first five years, and we look forward to
the next five. Please take the time to look at the attached listing of our enhanced services,
some of which will be introduced in the New Year.
We look forward to continuing our relationships with our clients, friends and colleagues
in 2008 and beyond.
With best wishes,

Dean M. Brenner
