The Manager of Marketing will be an integrated part of our overall business development team, and will report directly to the Managing Director for Business Development. The person in this role will lead and execute an integrated B2B marketing strategy designed to engage diverse professional audiences across a broad range of industries. This person is responsible for driving brand awareness, audience engagement, content strategy, and digital marketing initiatives.
This position is ideal for a hands-on, resourceful marketing professional who thrives in a small company environment. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, and highly independent, with the ability to maximize impact through cost-effective marketing strategies, thoughtful prioritization, innovative execution, and the willingness to integrate with the entire team in a productive way.
General Responsibilities:
Execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies that effectively market to, communicate with, and engage varying demographics, including early-career professionals, mid-level leaders, and corporate executives.
Develop and implement high-impact marketing initiatives while working within a modest marketing budget and identifying cost-effective opportunities to increase visibility and engagement.
Manage all content creation and distribution activities, including biographies, publications, podcasts, promotional materials, email campaigns, and thought-leadership content.
Ensure brand consistency and visual identity across all channels.
Leverage the marketing capabilities of our CRM and LinkedIn.
Lead all engagement initiatives across preferred platforms, including paid campaigns and performance tracking.
Create, edit, and publish compelling marketing content utilizing strong writing, graphic design, and, when necessary, video production/editing skills.
Manage both strategic planning and day-to-day execution in a small team environment.
Drive projects independently from concept to execution, contributing creative marketing ideas that measurably grow brand visibility and engagement.
Monitor marketing trends, audience insights, and campaign analytics to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and audience reach.
Stay in close contact with the rest of the business development team and partner effectively with the entire Latimer team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
2-3+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or communications roles.
Experience that includes leading initiatives in a small company, entrepreneurial, nonprofit, or resource-conscious environment.
Strong content creation skills, including writing, editing, graphic design, and video production/editing.
Experience managing multiple communication channels and content distribution platforms.
Excellent project management, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work proactively, independently, and creatively while managing multiple priorities.
